It's been a while since I've posted anything here or on CollegeVoice, It's also been a while since I've updated anything on CollegeVoice, lets just say I needed a bit of motivation to start fixing up things.
Comments with syntax
I've fixed up a major bug which was a pretty simple fix but again didn't have to motivation to get to fixing things, the bug basically prevented comments which had any syntax like commas, full stops etc from being entered into the database, took around 5 minutes to fix this off and all seems to be good after testing as well.
New login UI
Lets just say, the old login UI was messy and pretty bland and made me feel like not logging in at all at times, I've quickly whipped up a new UI for the login page using Bootstrap 3 which is pretty good for guys like me who are bad at design :)
I plan to roll out a new UI for the whole site (what ever you get post login screen) with a new and improved UI which makes the site feel alive and going, I haven't yet planned out any new features to be added to the site. Most likely after the new UI is rolled out, there will be a massive code cleanup and optimizations here and there to make things better internally as well.
